David Hershey

I've devoted most of my career to machine learning infrastructure and trying to abstract away the hairy systems complexity that gets in the way of people building amazing ML applications.

I'm an AI Resident at Anthos Capital, where I'm exploring ideas in applied AI and AI infrastructure. Before I joined Unusual, I did early presales work at Tecton and Determined AI. I had the privilege of working with hundreds of teams across several industries building ML solutions. I got pulled into the industry after starting the ML platform team at Ford. I also spent a stint investing in seed stage AI companies at Unusual Ventures.

My background is technical (MS in CS from Stanford), and I'm an engineer at heart.
